The best part of releasing the Scenic Road quilt pattern has been the opportunity to work with talented makers who lended their time to making and editing the pattern. I am so thankful for the support and excitement these quilters have shown Scenic Road over the past few months! Take a look at their beautiful versions of the Scenic Road quilt and check out their Instagram pages and websites to see more of the quilts and projects they are working on!
I'm so thankful Amanda jumped on board right away as a tester for the Scenic Road quilt! The colors she chose are bright and cheerful and I love that she went with a striped binding! Amanda is also a long arm quilter and she chose the best panto for this quilt. Follow Amanda on Instagram @graccieone to get a closer look at her precision and quilting skills!
Lorryn's Scenic Road quilt has a wonderful vintage vibe. She used a beautiful floral as the center and outer border, and masterfully used a directional stripe print for one of the petal colors. Follow Lorryn on Instagram @ms_kats_creations!
Arielle is a fellow Wisconsinite and I was so excited when she offered to test the Scenic Road quilt pattern. She took her finished quilt on a hike at Devil's Lake State Park and captured it with this stunning view from the top of the bluff! I adore the sunny pastel colors that Arielle chose for her baby size Scenic Road quilt. Follow Arielle on Instagram @TartanTitan3991!
The colors that Martha used in her Scenic Road quilt are pure sunshine. She used prints from the Speckled line by Ruby Star Society and the metallic flecks in the fabric make this quilt extra special. Martha shared this sweet photo of her pup napping on her rows during assembly and I couldn't get over that tiny piece of thread on his nose! "As a fellow Wisconsinite, I couldn't wait to bring this barn quilt to life! I had such a blast finding fabrics that would bring a unique spin to the classic, floral look. I used a variety of Art Gallery Prints & Solids in gold & navy hues (check out my Instagram page for the full fabric pull) and I simply love how it turned out! This pattern is fast and beginner-friendly, and is definitely one that you'll want to add to your collection." -Courtney
"When Amanda asked me to test Scenic Road, all I could think of was the roads leading home. I’ve been fortunate to live in various parts of the country and have seen so many beautiful places. My favorite roads lead to oceans, so I opted to make my quilt in colors of the sea, ocean horizons and a late day sunset. I used all fabric by Art Gallery Fabrics; Pure Elements Solids for the front and a print from the Ballerina Fusion collection on the back. The idea of a barn star also reminds me of home and my Midwest upbringing. The collaboration and this pattern touched on so many things I value. It’s a quick “make” and I hope to create more in the future." -Stacey
Let's talk about this amazing rainbow version of the Scenic Road quilt! Kaitlin knocked the rainbow color way out of the park and even has alternating rainbow colors of thread in her quilting! Kaitlin is another fellow Wisconsinite, an ultra-talented quilter, and she owns an online fabric and quilt shop. Kaitlin has quilt kits in her shop if you want to make a Scenic Road quilt just like hers! Follow Kaitlin on Instagram @QuarterLifeLeap and check out her shop and blog.
